I like to dive, (a lot!!!) but I am new to underwater photography. and have been photographing for only the last year. My equipment consists of a Nikonos IV-A with a SB101 strobe and a 35mm Nikonos lens with an extension tube for close ups. Thus far I have been using negative film, typically 100ASA, since it is a good way to start since such film is somewhat forgiving to a beginner such as myself. Upon encouragement from Curtis Degler(webmaster), I am starting to play with slide film, which is is more demanding but the quality is better and WYSIWYG. Displayed are images from local coldwater sites as well as warm water ones.
